The core team comprises members from world-class aviation enterprises including COMAC, Airbus, GE, Collins, and Honeywell, with key personnel having been deeply involved in the development of COMAC's ARJ21/C919/C929 aircraft.
Volant's inaugural product, the VE25, features a composite wing structure with a takeoff weight of 2.5 tons, capable of carrying one pilot and five passengers. Application for the Type Certificate of the VE25-100 eVTOL was accepted in September 2023. The development batch aircraft has completed unprotected free flight tests, with airworthiness certification for this model expected by the end of 2026. The company has secured China's first formal commercial order.
